Upon recent cleaning I noticed a couple of odd indentations under the slide (highlighted in green).

something I need to worry about? I'd rather not have the slide fly off and hit me in the face.

If I had to guess it looks like the slide notches on the frame are ramming into the grooves on the slide a bit more *forward* than they should be.

I think its just the affect of the crappy MIM slide. Mine havent gotten any worse since the first few shootings.

Shot the P99C QA. Thought I'd love it, ended up being indifferent to it.

I still like how the gun looks and feels, the only thing I don't like is the release lever for the magazine.

Try the Springfield XD. The trigger is pretty similar to the Walther QA. I ended up buying the XD-40sc and I carry it daily.
