Stuff is dirty. I had one type of failure too, I cant remember what is was. ftf I think snoogins 08-27-2008, 02:10 AM Try running that stuff through an AR and you'll curse the day you did. Richard Solomon 08-27-2008, 05:49 AM fusilier 08-27-2008, 06:39 AM The Beefier Gas piston guns generally have no problems with it. The Friction on the coating can sometimes effect magazines, but it seems plastic magazines work better. Wolf is more senstive to magazine variations (too tight). Loose mags with strong springs work well I'm going to run some Wolf through my Golani this weekend. I suspect it'll be fine through a Golani/Galil. Runs 100% fine in my AR-180 and my Steyr AUG. The Sig 551 is tempermental with full mags, but it'll run through 10 rounds no problems so I think thats a magazine issue. My AR15 doesn't like wolf at all. oneformula 08-27-2008, 07:01 AM oneformula 08-27-2008, 07:14 AM ATX VW GTI 08-27-2008, 10:20 AM It goes bang every time you pull the trigger. Granted it is dirtier than other ammos but your going to clean your rifle anyway so its not a big deal. fusilier 08-27-2008, 10:41 AM What about steel case 8mm fired from a MG42? You do know that the majority of the world does not use brass ammo. If you look at combatants in WW2. The US and western allies were the only ones who used Brass ammo. The cold war was also drawn along the same lines. All those Chinese, Russians, Eastern Bloc nations, Surplus WW2 german weapons... all ran with Steel case ammo. Most heavier guns use steel case rounds and this includes some US weapons.. Wolf ammo is what it is... I'm not going to promote it or condemn it, but I think too many people are just using one example with their AR15 and drawing all their conclusions from that. snoogins 08-27-2008, 12:23 PM I've agreed with Thermal on a number of things this month alone. I must be mellowing. Whitjr 08-27-2008, 04:09 PM I havn't tried it in any other guns.
