...as for the m4 feed ramps, $25 for something that people arent cant even agree on are needed? I dunno, maybe overkill is a good idea, I'm just struggling on keeping the cost down.

Defense free-float, skip stock and get a Magpul, skip grip and get a Magpul, skip 3 prong flash hider and get a Vortex. Are you sure you want the fixed front sight? It would be my personal preference to get a 10" handguard and a low-profile gas block, then run a Troy folding front sight.

That's all just my preference though, it will be a good gun the way you have it setup, but you'll prolly end up changing a bunch of stuff out later.

because they're an excellent product. I was only making suggestions. When I buy guns and gun parts I don't worry about the money, I worry about the quality and reliability so that when I need to put my life on the line the weapon works every time without fail. The rest is just personal preference.

FWIW my AR has the stock hand guard and an A3 detachable carry handle/rear sight. I don't have the money to buy the high-end accessories that I want so I'm sticking with stock for now.
