I'd like to know what parts need oiling specifically. The S&W manual sucks.

after you clean the 1911 just put some oil (I use #9 synthetic) on a q-tip and rub it down the rails on the side of the frame and slide, around the bushing at the front, on the slide release pin and on the feedramp. Basically anyplace that the slide and frame connect you should oil.

This is the Ruger I'm after, AWC makes the best suppressors around IMO, plus they have great customer service for non-LEOs.

It's pretty sweet and considering ammo costs, it'll pay for itself. Plus at MRA, I can now use both indoor ranges.

Suppressors are illegal in my state. Oh well. .22 is pretty quiet anyway.
