View Full Version : Well I'm a Ruger 10/22 expert now. Spent the day working over my receiver and trigger parts.

Can take one apart 100% and throw it back together now and know what parts do what and where to polish where and how. I didn't spend alot of time perfecting the factory parts or anything but the POS 10/22 this build is being based off of was dirty as crap and needed a some TLC. Bolt slides like astroglide now and the trigger feels downright glassy. Amazing what a cleaning job will do sometimes.

I also worked over the filthy rotary magazine it came with but just in case I picked up a new one at walmart so I have a proper test magazine.

New parts come in a few days. I'll probably post pics when finished. It won't be super awesome looking but I'm trying to build a reasonably accurate 10/22 on a budget.
