I'm guessing most here are also into knives. I usually rotate between my Benchmade Osborne and my left-handed Benchmade mini AFCK.

But the only knife I'd carry with the hopes of defending myself with was my Benchmade Griptilian axis lock. I could deploy that bastard so fast even I was shocked sometimes... which is wierd because I already knew I was awesome so why was I suprised?

I'm still getting used to the 530, but it's better for daily carry; smaller, lighter, and doesn't freak people out nearly as much.

But they're things that are different from the stryker(thumb stud instead of the disc, tip-up carry), so it's just a matter of getting used to it.

I really like the size, weight, and axis lock, though. Plus the spear point blade will be easier to sharpen.
