with the Prestige package and the $500 upgraded navigation package.
Bottom line = $49K and change. Almost $50K for an A4 size vehicle? One word: OUCH!

There is now way that I will pay $50K+ for an A4 size vehicle. Just not worth it to me. I'd sooner take more and better vacations then spend that kind of money on a vehicle.
I have a company car for one more year and then I can get another one, or take the $700 and buy or lease my own. I'll look at an A6 just because of the room that it has compared to the Q5.
Also, I'll probably look at the new Tarus SHO AWD when it comes out next year. Bi-turbo 350-400 Hp car for less than $40K! And if that's not enough, then I'll do this to it. . .

Hennessey announces plans to modify the Ford Taurus SHO

thrill me with its' design. Of course, not many Japanese cars make me excited. We owned a 2-door Montero when we lived in CO (87-92) and I really like that vehicle and would buy another if it was offered here in the U.S. Of course, Mitsubishi copied the Mercedes Benz 280GE Gelaendewagen which is one of my all time favorite vehicle.

an upscale version of Tiguan.
The good thing is it is not a rebadge of Tiguan due to different platform used.
I am eager to get one, but now I change my mind because of cost.

the dash with the shifter looks terrible
The Montero was a great looking car. I always loved them too though we went Jeeps (GC) in those days
