View Full Version : Embarrasing moment for the new Q5 Ed@mtl 02-10-2009, 03:17 AM Sorry for the cross link.

http://forums.audiworld.com/canada/msgs/150103.phtml</a

BayGBM 02-11-2009, 11:13 AM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkQ5yBnS4SU Ouch! Austin A6 3.2 02-11-2009, 06:11 PM From the second YouTube video: In response to previous Q5 Posts This reason why this happened is as follows, our test driver was demonstrating the Electronic stabilisation program in a controlled manner. This programme which is switchable on the Q5 increases stability reduces the tendency to skid and improves the stability and road holding of the vehicle. Now you can imagine that not all 4x4s would be put through similar angles as what we were demonstrating to you and the rest of the Top Gear Live attendees. So to clarify this system is very impressive there is no vehicle fault here, Our Driver was simply demonstrating ESP switched on (ON ROAD MODE) and off (OFF-ROAD MODE) please see the following link to our footage of all cars in action over the weekend Also all your comments on the Kuga are factually incorrect this was a 4x4 as it would be impossible for a 2 wheel drive vehicle to get around our course.
