given the current US economy, you have to wonder what a 20mpg, $39K small SUV brings to the party?

the pretige (I want nav) is $48K and Q7 with equivalent equiped is $50K.
I probably go with Q7.

Ouch! When you put it like that, it's hard to justify the Q5.
If you told me it got 30+mpg OR was $29K I could argue for it... but with its current numbers I'm not feeling the love either. :(

Most humdrum styling of any recent Audi. No love here, sorry. It's a total 0 on the enthusiast scale.
No six speed manual with any engines, and no 3.0TDi or 3.0T either?
The styling is horribly mundane and it's pricey?
