on the Front Range. They let her sit in it and showed her all the features. She fell in love with it and said it fit her perfectly.

I'll try and take some pictures today

They said they would have test drive cars in a couple of weeks.

Reggie - What are you first impressions of the Q5 especially versus your wife's RX?

but I really did not open it or look in there.
It seems a little more tighter in side but again did not open the doors. The body looks tighter than the Lexus and the shape is much more pleasant.

I figured since they were going to have cars to drive in a couple of weeks I'd wait, and as we have an other year till my daughter graduates from IU- and that will be when we look at spending the $$$ to replace the Lexus (though she will go ballistic at the next service interval as it will be to replace the spark plugs @ 105k miles[Last service was the timing belt and that was close to US$2k] and to replace the spark plugs requires taking out the intake manifold. Ironically they use the same plugs as I put in the A4 Denso Iridiums)

Thanks for the comments on the Q5. I'll be waiting for the TDI diesel to come to the US and if it doesn't come then maybe the new S4 as my next company car? I have one more year with the 500.

Yes, that spark plug change cost is insane! My friend's ES cost something like $500 to change plugs - Are you out of your f**king mind Lexus?

Your timing belt cost more than a Audi V8 cost. Of course, my was done by Ron, the V8 guru, to whom I owe my deepest gratitude.

so difficult. I had planned to do it myself and could get to the front three very easily.

I'm not a diesel fan - and think the gas engines are fine. I hope the supercharger engine comes as it will help with the gas mileage.

Was told by local ABS that plan is to bring the 2.0 TDI A4 here next. Now, if AoA can keep the price difference between TDI and gas the same as VWoA has, then they'll have a hit on their hands. If they price a lot higher, then it'll be a huge failure.

Of course, if gas goes back to over $4/gallon all bets are off. They'll see tons of TDI's here in the US.

I always thought it looked bigger in person and in pictures. With the large wheel base it makes the vehicle look bigger than it is, which is a good thing for me.
