Why did Audi go to the trouble of the Diesel Mileage Marathon if they are NOT going to introduce the TDI in the Q5, A4 and A3? Seems like a lot of diesel PR (and $$$) for nothing. The mileage numbers on the Q5 are very good and, after reading that the 3.0 TDI already meets California specs (the most stringent in the US), why NOT bring in the TDI? Geesh, Mercedes has a ton of diesel models. We're gonna hold off on any serious consideration of a Q5 until we get a chance to drive a 3.0 TDI (someday - maybe 2010). There was mention of having to refill the Urea tank at oil change time, so ? Big Deal unless is costs $500 to have the oil changed and the urea tank filled (you could also consider just drinking a lot of beer and filling it yourself?) :-)
