The reason I ask is because the Q5 looks bigger. Perhaps it's made to compete with the X5. But some reviews say it's made to compete against the BMW X3. I'm confused.

I don't know much about SUV's, but the Q7 looks really big when compared to other SUV's. Has anyone doesn a dimensional study of all these SUV's and where does the Q5 fall among its competitors.

Also, what is the projected price? That might help decide where it falls in place.

X3 and Q5 are in the same price range, though I think the Q5 is slightly larger in almost all dimensions.

X5 and Q7 are in the same price range and I think the same thing goes for the Q7 - slightly larger in all dimensions.

The Audi Q5 is about the size of a Lexus RX. The Audi Q7 is about the size of a Mercedes Benz GL. The Bimmers on both counts are smaller.
