I doubt it very much. Johan is in Germany and South Africa until March 5th. Maybe after that? I would think that he would be there for the Q5 launch since it's such an important vehicle for America. Just my $0.02 worth.

...I'm wondering if Audi went back to the drawing board recently and pushed back a rollout until much later.... The Shanghai and Tokyo auto shows are the only events I can think of that would offer exposure big enough for this "high-volume" model.

Tomorrow is the first press day, so there's a chance that Audi will reveal the car tomorrow.

Could be Shanghai, since that's the other market that we've heard Audi speak about the Q5 as another large, target market.

There is no shanghai auto show for 2008, my source tell's me beijing auto show since this is audi is number 1 in china in the luxury sector.

that's why the Q5 will get the 7 speed DSG from the start, as the DSG technology will be ready by then, but is not ready yet (A4/A5 don't have it)
