this linked article is about the upcoming A4-based Allroad. I don't know whether Audi is bringing this car over to the US (as it might compete with the Q5 too closely or confuse buyers) but seeing as no official word on a particular Q5 TDI offering in the US, I am wondering if Audi is saving a TDI for an S version of the Q5?

Rumors speculate that the Q5 might be the first Audi to get the twin turbo V6 TDI. And it will also be the first Audi to get the 7 speed DSG, the two however are not necessaraly linked.

Audi has hinted at a hybrid Q5 in the US before a TDI Q5, and the 300 hp TT TDI might not be US emission compliant.
