I'd be interested for sure, but fear it can't pull what I need it to pull.

I saw a European Tiguan online review video and they generally liked it but regarded it as a Golf Plus SUV model (probably since it has same/similar interior). I thought the interior was pretty austere and not very luxurious. But then again the Audi Q5 will be of course much more expensive.

They thought the Honda CRV and Nissan X-Trail (not available here) were best for of the group.

I attached the link even though it's in Dutch. If you don't speak Dutch you may still enjoy the video.<ul><li><a href="http://av.rtl.nl/web/components/automotor/rtlautowereld/2008/week01/wo_17_autowereld_volledig.avi.MiMedia_WM_1500K_V9_ av_film_an_t4b4l2r2_716x402.wmv">Winter special</a></li></ul>

Audi may offer front track only for entry Q5 and charge a arm+leg for Quattro...

but I am not familiar with any of them. Tha A4 looks bigger than before.
I told him it looked like an old BMW 5 series and he pointed toward the exit!!!
He thinks we will see the Q5 here by March April, but as soon as he said that, some of the other guys frowned and told him to shut up.. so either they know something OR he knows nothing.

I will keep watching from over here anyway.

Plus..it'll have the TDI before your beloved Q5. Betcha it'll have more rear leg room too! Most VW's do over Audi. Sad, but VERY true. Look at the GTI compared to the A3. Better resale too.

According to the <a href="http://www.worldcarfans.com/9071204.004/photo1/audi-2008-internal-product-launch-document-leaked">"leaked"</a> release schedule, Q5 will come with S-Tronic (DSG) which is known as being "ditched" in Tiguan because of it's lack of towing capability!

What's the point of an SUV if it can't tow anything?

And his or her username is SAC-CA-GTI. All he or she ever does here on AW is bash Audis and praise everything else on Earth.

FWIW, I have my beef with Audi, too. Just ask me to share it and it is as good as done.
