If Audi cannot launch the Q5 with a TDI then I seriously have to consider an X5 w/ Diesel- due towards the end of this year, 2008.

If Audi cannot be counted on to deliver the latest technology ahead or at least alongside their competition, then they are not the sort of company i wish to reward with my business. I have had a deposit for a Q5 TDI resting at my local Audi dealer for 9 months now or so. I will be getting that back if Audi announces the Q5 with no TDI available.

http://www.autospies.com/news/Look-Out-Hybrids-BMW-To-Bring-Diesel-Line-Up-To-US-in-Late-2008-24859/</a

If MB launch C320 TDI touring before Q5, I'll move over as well.

and problems are quite serious, like replaced transmissions. I have never seen such severe problems occuring so often in Audi forums.

my C5 S6 I constantly am on the alert for any sign of tranny problems. A large part of why I need to buy either a Q5 TDI this next coming Winter in 08 is because the CPO warranty will finally be up. And that will mean about $8000 or so out of pocket for a new tranny.
