On the A4 B8 3.2 I see the square opening below the headlights for the washers, but I can't see a similar opening on the 2.0.

However, the Audi website indicates that both models have headlight washers.

As far as I can tell the headlight washer are not available for USA models. You most likely saw a photo of a euro spec B8

I didn't see a corresponding A4 2.0 to compare to.

I checked the Audi U.S. website and for some reason they don't include headlight washers on any of the A4 models.

On the Canadian site (where I'm from) they claim headlight washers are available on both the A4 3.2 and the A4 2.0 Premium (just not the A4 2.0 standard). See below:

It would be a useful feature, if it works. I'm wondering if maybe the Audi U.S. website is more accurate in omitting the headlight washers (maybe it's just European) - although doesn't explain what I saw on an A4 3.2 in a Canadian showroom.

Canadian models are different from US and some models do get headlight washers. Your dealer should be able to verify that. My first 4 A4 all had headlight washers and they do work.

Ya I'm from Canada as well and this is a 2.0T Premium and I believe these are headlight washers, but I haven't used the washers yet.

Great. That's what I was looking for. These rectangular cutouts are what I had seen on the A4 3.2 and the salesperson confirmed they were headlight washers - but they weren't sure if they came with the A4 2.0T Premium (which is what I ordered) - but apparently they do. Excellent.
