Jimmy F. at Audi Burlington MA Herb Chambers was great! We both patiently waited for this car to arrive.

Here are some pics for the forum.

Some comments: (Keeping in mind the recent comments of others)

Amazing - Very Tight - Everything is.
The buttons are fine - all have that Audi click, all have the same amount of light shining through. The soft-touch is gone, but so will the peeling.
The gray plastic around the MMI and Dials is fine.
The glove box has a nice solid close.
Apple iPhone 3G syncs just fine.
The arm rest and front of the head rests is plastic - unlike a 2006 Passat.
The shift gate is smooth - no more plastic creaks.
The arm rest has no squaks so far - this was a problem from 2000 to 2008.
The rear seat is much larger.
There is a lot of "stuff" in the trunk - check the pics. Anyone care to guess what each of those items are.... I will look them up in a few days.
The car is very quiet inside.
The dials have a great new font.

Too bad Audi no longer includes the warning triangle - a requirement in Europe.

Smart move on the adaptive cruise. This is a fantastic safety device that should be standard on all cars. How do you like side assist??
Enjoy your car, they are fantastic!

Has anyone else noticed that virtually every element ....buttons, plastic cut-outs etc. all have the same Trapezoid shape. German obsession with perfection at it's best.

Also, where is the lock on the front head rests? - They are larger but note- no reference to "active" in the press release.

Also there is a pen holder, sunglass holder and clip for a toll ticket or paper in the glove box.

Also in general there are fewer parts! Looking carefully at the door panels, arm rests etc, there are fewer parts.

Also - no rear seat pass-thru on 2009's?

Also - is it me or does the navgation guidance instructions focus the voice directions at the driver and not the passengers...

Also - The fuel door is completly different no more steel pin - its now a plastic lock.

Also - The subwoofer is protected under the hatshelf in the trunk by a cheap piece of plastic. There is also only one light in the trunk.
