At 10 Am on a picture perfect day (68 deg not a cloud in the sky) I took delivery of my new A4. The total event took 2 hours but it just flew by. Gary Buffington of Sunnyside Audi in Cleveland did a fantastic job of explaining the new features of the B8. The 90 min. trip home was amazing. The B & O sound is out of this world. The car and everyone of it's feature ran perfect. Now this is my 5th A4 and it is amazing how the product keeps getting better and better.

More details later but a few for now. The 3.2 6 cylinder engine has been improved. To my liking it is quieter and even smoother. The feel of the gas pedal is much improved and easier to use. The trip computer was showing 32.7 MPG on the way hopme and my first fill up confirmed that. I was keeping the speed between 65 and 75 on the way.

I am amazed how quiet the ride is and how precise the steering is. Both are an improvement from the B7 2006 3.2 I still have.
I have an amazing garage with both a 06 and an 09 3.2 A4 in it.

Now I got go and learn more of the features. The manual is only 384 page so I will be busy for a while.

I'd really like to have that clean look of the front end but don't know if I want to pay the tickets. Congrats on the car. I'll be picking up mine from Gary in a couple months. It's suppose to be built next week.

...a CPO 1999.5 A4 2.8 5MT, sport pack...

If I get another new Audi, it will likely be from Sunnyside.

Your car is beeeeeautiful. Seriously 32+ mpg highway? I may have gotten 27-28 with my 99.5 and maybe 25-26 with my '06 3.2 Avant.

At 32 mpg highway, hmmmm...maybe I can live with a sedan in 3.2 (6MT) flavor (and survive without an avant...)

As for the front plate in Ohio thingy-- anecdotally, I'd guess 30% of cars in Ohio lack a front plate. Maybe 40. I've been driving my V8 for 1.5 years and that orange thing for 6 months both without a front plate and never a problem.

I'd also like to hear B8 vs B7 comments as I'm missing my 3.2 *6MT* Avant...

Curious, does your 2006 A4 really have power sunshades? Didn't know that was an option in 2006.

Thanks for the detailed review. Enjoy the new baby.

I have ordered all of my Audi's and that way I can specify exactly what I want.

I guess that is one benefit of living in the keystone state.

q: since you've had several A4s, how do you feel about AoA's changing policy re: included maintenance over the years?

sounds like you're a distance from the dealer anyway...

...pretty darn good gas mileage, especially on a "green" engine. I've heard good reports about Sunnyside although I'm a Fred Baker finger puppet.

Once there's an A4 manual option and/or diesel, I'll prob one too.

Good luck!

All scheduled maintenance is cover for 4 additional years. So I will be going to Sunny side, or any Audi dealer for the next 5 years and it will be covered. The cost was $ 650.00 and as far as I;m concerned well worth it. I know several of the technicians at Sunnyside and I would stack them up against any world wide. Fantastic service well worth the 90 minute drive.
