Good luck with the Toyota um Lexus- sorry but
for the money, Audi or BMW are far better in terms of fun factor and engineering. Lexus/Toyota may have reliability but not the style of German and Italian cars. Even Infiniti is more fun of a car than Lexus. But hey enjoy they are nice cars just not my thing.

ok... the parents shouldn't have put the baby on an raw food diet, but why are they facing up to 50 years in prison? the defense says the baby died of a rare birth defect and the kids have all testified and seem fine. the prosecution is now bringing up the fact that the kids were beaten by a belt, but the kids told the child protection agency that they only got hit once on the leg if they were in trouble. that hardly sounds like abuse to me but simply discipline. it's unfortunate the baby died, for whatever reasons, but i believe these parents did not knowingly put their children/baby in dangerous health. the raw food diet is expensive, complicated and needs dedication. parents who want to kill their children do not follow this diet but simply STARVE their kids. i am torn by the fact that they didn't put their baby on formula and instead fed her wheat grass and almond milk. the other children were fed 3 times a day with snacks. i think these parents should NOT go to jail for 50 years and instead be ordered to put their children on a "normal" diet until they are an adult (because there is still controversy in regards to the raw food diet). i believe these parents have a way of life and a way of living for their own reasons (be it health, religion, whatever) and they did not purposely harm their children.

i do not agree with the raw food diet being a childs diet because they are still developing, but these parents do not seem like malicious monsters.

lexus is amazing, for what they try to do, which is be a reliable luxury car. they beat mercedes, which is their main competition.

i used to have lexus, and loved it, but i wanted more sportiness and awd in my car

No doubt it's a better choice financially, but you just bought a mobile appliance.

I would rather have an invigorating car that breaks down from time to time than a boring car that is always reliable. Toyota.... I mean lexus is the latter description however that reliability issue doesn't seem to apply to Audi as there cars are doing very well (according to tests etc.) The problem with all the tests done on these cars is that different people drive their cars differently and treat them differently with care and maintenance. The average age of a lexus driver is 65 so they likely just crawl along without ever pushing their cars much at all. Other cars may be driven harder etc such as Audi/BMW where thay attract a younger audience who probably likes to "thrash" their cars more than grandpas and grandmas in their lexus.

Apart from that I can't believe that he bought the toyota over the other options out their. Even Mercedes and BMW are better choice than lexus by a mile.

Shame on you Big D, shame, shame, shame!

I just drove an IS250 AWD at the Audi Driving Experiemce and I have to say that while it handles pretty good I would not even consider it for the cheap interior that they offer. It really looks Toyota inside.

Wow, ignorance runs rampant around here. I understand this is an Audi board but let's use some common sense and dignity. I currently own an A8 but am now trying to sell it, and here's what I've previously owned: M5, GS450H, MB M55, 330Cic and a 335conv. (last 2 are wife's). Guess which car gave me absolutely ZERO problems?

You can sit here and talk about boring, reliable appliances that are Lexuses, but then try dealing with subpar customer service, pulling teeth to get loaners of "like size" so that you aren't forced to jam clients in a base model, or getting BMW, MB or Audi to actually repair warranty issues without question. You guys act like these cars are so much more technologically advanced than a Lexus that it's to be expected. You honestly think an IS-F will be sitting in the shop, let alone one of their hybrids or AWDs? And when did it become a priviledge to own a German car? Heck, with the generous lease rates offered, practically anyone can get into one, so why do most of the dealers treat their clients worse than Lexus does? You'd think Lexus only does this because they sell far less cars, yet they're still #1 here in the US, and Audi isn't even top 5, yet has been in the US market twice as long. If Audi really worked on their customer service, reliability wouldn't be an issue to me, as it is I find myself ignoring problems just to avoid going to either of the 2 dealerships in the area (Boston).
