saw a new B8 A4 Avant parked next to an A6 3.2 Avant. I like the rear of the A6 much more, but the front of the B8A4. It would be a tough decision, but i might be inclined to go A6 given there would probably be a sweet discount for it.

Sitting in the new B8, i noticed the push buttons for radio/temp control/mmi are just not the same as in the B7. Definitely a notch or two down in quality. Also, the window buttons have a much different feel and it's even more difficult to tell the diff b/w one-touch down and just moving it a few inches.
