View Full Version : Does the B&O system use their Acoustic Lens technology? PanzerWagon 10-09-2008, 12:22 PM lasrever 10-09-2008, 12:35 PM from what i understand their 'lens' tech is only on the a/s/r8 cars as it only works with bottom-firing drivers. the b&o in the a4 is an entirely side-firing system, i.e. it doesn't have the little pop-up pods in the dash and deck like the a/s/r8 models do. who knows if the s4 will get a further upgraded system or if the next gen a6 will get it as well. nick. I am fairly obsessed with audio quality and so far am very impressed with the system in my Avant. I did drive an A8L with the B&O for a few hours after which I knew it was a must-have on the Avant. That with the iPod integration was a huge selling point for me. V10_MAN 10-09-2008, 06:15 PM an Audiopax 88 stereo tube amplifier (15w) driving Avantgarde Duo speakers with 2 additional base modules. I'm never disappointed with the B&O in the car.
