just learned that in Ukraine, for A4 only the following engines and transmissions are available:
1.8TFSI front 6sp/multitronic
2.0TFSI 211hp front 6sp/multitronic
3.2FSI quattro tiptronic
2.0TDI 143hp front 6sp/multitronic
3.0TDI quattro tiptronic
We see that:
1. There is no 2.0TFSI quattro
2. There is no manual transmission for 6-cyl engines
I don't know who is defining the list of engines/transmissions for the market - importer in that market or Audi HQ in Germany. But for me, the outcome of that decision is simplest - go to BMW dealer and buy 325xi or 320xd. I could go to some Baltic country which is not too far from us and buy A4 2.0TFSI quattro, and then import it here, but why? If there is no combo which I want officially available in my market, then probably that combo is not for me. And if BMW is selling any combo they have in motherland, then... probably it IS for me.
