View Full Version : Another time wasting, short B7 to B8 morph video (side view). Watch the A4 evolve. snagitseven 10-07-2008, 08:41 PM

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pa3L_usvh1U</a

gk1 10-08-2008, 06:23 AM Is there a button for locking the doors on exterior door handle like the A6? If so where is it or better yet if you could possibly post a picture of it? AofC_RR 10-08-2008, 07:13 AM gk1 10-08-2008, 08:38 AM I know the touch sensor for opening the door, but the A6 has a rubber button under the handles for locking the door/arming the alarm. Is the A4 now just a touch sensor for locking also? snagitseven 10-08-2008, 08:39 AM I still haven't fugured it out completely yet however. When I'm the only one exiting the car, it works fine when I touch the lock area on the handle. If I have a passenger also exiting, it will not always respond to a touch to lock on the driver's side. You have to press the handle for about 7-10 secs for it to lock most of the time in this situation. There's something that delays it when the passenger door is opened and I haven't been able to nail down the sequence of events that causes this to happen. nirad 10-08-2008, 09:52 AM gk1 10-08-2008, 10:35 AM snagitseven 10-08-2008, 01:26 PM Touching the handle anywhere unlocks the door and touching the rectangular area on the outside of the handle locks it. The MMI can be set to have all doors or just the driver's door open with a touch anywhere on the handle. gk1 10-08-2008, 03:12 PM |
