The S4 is fun, but, wow, what a drinker! I think that I like the lower powered car because I like that you can drive the A4 hard and still be close to staying traffic-violation legal. It is insane how far you can cross that line in the S4!!
I imagine that once April/May comes I will be wanting to hold onto the S4... we'll see.<ul><li><a href="http://forums.audiworld.com/a4b8/msgs/18002.phtml">why I am in an S4</a></li></ul>

For sure it's not economical.
For sure it understeers like there's a piggy sitting over the hood.
It's got the V8. This trumps all of the above.
But when it's all said &amp; done, and after a couple days in a b8 A4/A5 test drive, the A4 is hands down a huge performance improvement at a less painful cost than the b6/b7. .02 :)
