I think it is for certain not in US spec cars.

I do a lot of long haul flogs with people in the backseat. Right now we use an inverter for running laptops, having one built in would be very nice. Which means that just like the load management system I'll have to put back what Audi has taken away. Wonder how hard it is to get that hardware (along with all the other Euro only goodies like the TV tuner, load management system for the cargo area in the Avant, etc).

I'll bet Audi didn't even make a US outlet at all. It would be neat to get the euro one and try a retrofit with an adapter maybe.
