Just for fun I took a 2008 A6, 2001 A6 (mine), 2007 (2008?) A4 and 2009 A4 to see how they looked from the side compared to one another. I tried to get them in equal scale but it's not exact.

Added the A5 as well.

Wow, only in a side-by-side comparison like this can you really see how far forward the front wheels were pushed and how far back the "greenhouse" was expanded.... it's almost "sleek" vs "chunky" if you ask me.

this is the first time I've hung on to a car for over 7 years. But, the years take their toll on cars and humans and it's time to move on. Hopefully, my A4 should be here in 2-4 weeks and I will say a fond farewell to my 2.7t.

I am sure that will be fixed with the next generation car. In the meantime, Audi has done a nice job with the facelift. I really like the revised rear end with wider LED taillights.
