Just wondering what everyone is being told lately regarding the production delay on S Line equipped A4's. My dealer said to expect at least a 5 week delay, but this was mainly speculation and not based on information from AoA. I sent an email to Marjorie at Auditalk and she said it is normal for S Line production to begin later than the standard models and said she knows of no "wheel production delay" that we have been hearing about for the last month or so. I'm dying to find out that my car is in production, but at this point I'm starting to think it will never happen...

AFAIK I'm the only poster who has ordered Monza and the Misano orders I know of are for avants which should start later anyway.

Last news I had was an indefinite hold, but I should hear back next allocation period mid-August.

HowTF do you run out of a paint color? Come on!

RS6 and such. I'm told Audi holds off on painting high production cars in specialty colors until they are sure they have enough. Shrug, could be BS also and it could just be another variation on the 19" wheel issue since this strictly affects S-Lines. Either way I didn't want to switch colors only to be told there is some other delay.

I contemplated ditching the S Line package, but the interior alone is worth the wait, IMO.

I just wish Audi kept their dealers & customers more well informed. I had a build week of early July and had to press to find out there was a delay.
