I want to lease a b8 with premium plus, nav, and phantom colored. I actually have it ordered at my local dealership and its coming in october. I imagined myself leaving if they gave me a bad deal but now that I am getting very excited about the car, I am in sort of a panic as I am unsure of the leasing situation.

Can someone throw a monthly number at me if I lease for 3 years, 10k miles, 3000 dollars down?

I'd guess somewhere in the high fours to low fives. Depends on what Audi does with the APR's. Best wishes.

A Prestige 3.2 (or loaded 2.0T) is going to look an awefully lot like A5 lease payments....

$700+

*Edit*- It's early and I'm an idiot. I didn't read the OP where he stated that a mildly optioned PP is exactly what he's asking about.

I doubt he will get anywhere near that.

swallow hard and go drive a subbie legacy either spec B or 3.0 R.

Then tell me one thing the A4 does better

... but the fuel economy is not nearly as good as the Audi B8 2.0T.

The Saab 9-3 is another option for substantially less money.

--the fuel economy of the 2.0T remains to be seen in the usa -- using ethanol laced gas. The spec B has a pretty tall 6th gear that can net you 30mpg on the highway using that gas. yes its a subaru and the audi is way more cool. But I am going to give it the sube a very serious look if the lease rates are stupid next spring when my decision must be made. Ground clearance -- Legacy 6 inches. A4 4 inches and change. For anyone in the snow belt, that is an issue. I actually like the outback for this reason -- 8 inches of ground clearance -- but it just drives too soft. 6 is a good compromise imo. Good for getting out in the morning before roads are plowed. I wouldnt mind doing it in the sube, but I'd think twice in my gorgeous A4.

I drove a saab 9-3 turbo X a few months ago and it was fun. mpg of the turbo - X is not great --saw a review in one of the mags recently which got 17-18 I think. The aero can be had with a down-graded motor but no rear LSD. Also its a Haldex awd system for those who care. The A4 and the Legacy have a much more direct awd system -- torque sensing --torsen, bla, bla, bla

It may seem blasphemous but I think the Legacy is a very real alternative for anyone here who can live whithout the four rings on the grille. And given the cost of everything right now - gas, utilities, food -- it aint a crazy idea to save your pennies. More: subes are made here in the us in the cleanest plant in the world which produces no land fill waste. think it over...

i pretty much regret ordering nav too for 2k more. It puts my car at around 38k which is around base model price for the a5...
