I do understand your point but I don't blame AoA for launching with only the versions that they think will be the, overall, best sellers.

Nor would I have a problem waiting 6 months from launch for the exact model I want.

Granted, AoA won't be bringing some versions that many members here want at all, nevermind at launch.
