I never drove a S Line, and I am going to order the B8. Deciding whether to add the S Line. Just wondering if the S Line has a sport suspension. I heard that sport suspension is harder than normal, which presumably means it is not as comfortable as normal. Could anybody clarify please?

Also, from the dealer, I got that S Line has a acceleration handler under the steering wheel. I will get manual for sure. But do not know how that handler will work with a manual transmission.

Cheers

What the heck is an "acceleration handler"?

Cruise controller?

S-line = visual stuff, interior trim pieces and sports suspension. Sports suspension can probably be ordered separately, not sure, haven't really looked at the order guide but suppose anything is possible if you're willing to wait.

-- a highly complex electromagnetically assisted device which allows the driver to alter the direction the vehicle is traveling as velocity increases. In some parts of Lousiana it has a different name. They call it a "steering wheel."

you dfeinitely want this option.

S-line package includes the sport suspension and will not provide as comfortable a ride. I'm clueless on the "acceleration handler" unless he is talking about cruise control.

I might got the word wrong.
NVM. Thanks for the suspension problem.

Just wondering how uncomfortable it is with an S-line. Like the suspension is harder?
What about improved handling? like the power or steering? Could any one describe your experience?
Thanks

My S Line has lower suspension & the ride is a touch firmer than my old SE but I'm still comfortable! It's still a smooth ride and it's not jarring.

PS Have we discovered what an acceleration handler is yet cos I've not got one!;-)

Sorry for getting the name wrong.
I checked the site, so the S-line with auto transmission has shift paddles on the steering wheel. Manuals have aluminum optic pedals instead. The shift paddles were the I meant.
And that explains my original question.

Plus, I am glad to hear that S-line is not uncomfortable.
