How are the taxes?
Weather? 75-80 all year long with tons of snow in the mountains all year as well?

If this reflected the real world, Audi's most popular model would be an A4 Avant with a 4-cylinder diesel, manual transmission, Papaya Orange exterior, cloth interior, grey-painted RS4 alloys, and a massive aftermarket turbocharger.

Also, hatch owners tend to be very vocal.

Oops, my bad, I mean "hot hatch" owners. Wouldn't want to offend anybody ;-)

Not sure if I would want a papaya orange avant :)

just to note... used cars sales don't count.

If "a bunch of us" actually sent in the money, there would be some response -- depending of course on the defintion of "a bunch."

Most of us say "If such and such were offered I'd buy it."

I still can't get mustang brown or heated rear seats -- a party of one, don't change the plan.

Now if "a bunch" of us would all order the cars contingent on "heated rear seats," well that might change something.

components. Like it'll be Frontrack or it'll be Tiptronic or the wrong engine. There seems to be some silly downside to what Avants are offered with in the USDM. Just bring it with Quattro, [6MT or DSG], and 2.0 TFSI and you'll see the majority of the vocal Avant crowd sign up (if they were serious in the first place).

instead of saying "I RESENT that remark!" I say "I RESEMBLE," meaning that I identify with the remark, or agree with it. :P

In other words... I LOVE AVANTS!

I bet the "enthusiasts" (defined as they post on Audiworld/elsewhere) make up less than 25% of Avant sales.

Audi knows the take rate on the manual. Currently Audi sells 2.0T Avant Quattro with the manual. Nothing is stopping Audiworld posters/enthusiasts from buying more 2.0T Quatrro manuals than autos, except that there is too few of them (enthusiasts that want manual avants)

Also forums have all types of opinions. Most here prefer/consider the 2.0T over the 3.2 (I mostly agree with this as well) But there some that are upset that there will be no A4 Avant with the V6. Hence they make posts, and will voice their opinion strongly.

Not sure about the Papaya Orange, but my wife likes the VW Farenheit Jetta in yellow with the yellow stitching inside. Other than that, I would pretty much go for the AudiWorld special edition. Are they taking deposits? Can I get Euro delivery on that?
