View Full Version : B8 vs B7 rear leg room... Big D 09-17-2007, 07:38 AM is the B8 any bigger? Tanner 09-17-2007, 07:53 AM Inside the new A4 there is a sense of light and space that would do justice to a car in a much larger category. The saloon's 2808-millimetre wheelbase is not only more generous than its core competitors but also distinctly longer than the previous model. The interior is now 20 mm longer and rear-passenger knee room has gone up by a remarkable 36 mm to 908 mm. Headroom and width at shoulder height have also been increased. Every passenger in the new A4 has access to convenient features such as large cup holders and softly upholstered armrests. crespo 09-17-2007, 08:45 AM All from Edmunds (except B8 - press release), all in inches B8 Audi A4: 35.75 2008 (B7) Audi A4: 34.3 2007 BMW 3 series: 34.6 2007 Infiniti G35: 34.7 2008 MB C350: 33.4 Bada Bing 09-17-2007, 01:33 PM I've read figures as high as 5 or 6 inches on Edmunds.com which is a big increase, considering the B7 was already a bit longer than the E90 BMW 3-Series. I am hoping that the overall length hasn't gone up that much and the new car remains nimble and tossable. Tanner 09-17-2007, 03:17 PM Audi hasn't released the technical drawing of the B8 but I'm guessing that the overall length, bumper-to-bumper, will be slightly longer. Big D 09-17-2007, 04:44 PM I don't do mm's.
