My current A4 lease is up in Feb 2008 - I was hoping the new A4 would hit our shores in the spring of 2008 not the fall. What can/should I do to wait out the US launch of the new A4? Can you negotiate with VW Credit to extend a lease? If so, how long? Should I just buy the A4 at the residual and then trade it in? I once renegotiated an end of lease purchase below the residual - it was on a 1998 Jetta but not leased from VWC. What might be the chances of negotiating below the contract price from VWC? Any opinions or advice would be helpful.

Especially if you are intending to purchase a new A4.

come to the US sometime late summer, early fall 2008, but I wouldn't bet my house on that. Though, I would bet $100 that the dates are pretty firm as of today, but as you know, nothing is 100%.
