Other than that the car is perfect (besides the engines :-). What I really like about the new A4 is that they didn't give the car any angled crease lines on the sides like everyone else is doing. And there really isn't any slab-sided'ness that I can see.

I now have a Lexus gen2 IS. Large awkward mirrors are part and parcel of the Lex. However, they are very useful. Things I like about the B8:

*front fascia
*belt line
*dimensions
*cupped rear end
*trunk lip

Things I have not warmed up to yet:

Interior is too sterile and cold. It lacks the warmth of previous gen A4's of which I have owned 2 in the last five years. No dsg yet.

I was waiting for this gen A4 to come back to Audi and my first impression tells me it will probably pull me back. I still have my winter setup (Ronal wheels with Nokian snow tires) from my S4 in my garage waiting.

Overall, I'll probably take a wait and see what additional info/changes come along.

More info and pics are definitely needed right now! I do like (Love!) the interior though. Maybe its the monotone black color, of the interior pictured, that's giving you the cold impression? I'm thinking that when we see the interior in warmer colors it would look more inviting?

Yeah, you are right. I'm waiting for some more pictures with the different int. themes. The design is growing on me each day.
