Note that this is just an approximation but it gives you an idea of the increased wheelbase and reduced overhang compared to the previous A4.

Very cool comparison. The difference in front overhang is pretty noticeable.

I like the reduced overhang. I always find the B7 weird in the way the top and bottom of the overhang kinda goes in, towards each other. Not sure if I'm describing it properly, but how it's so diagonal from the bottom of the wheel arch to the front of the bumper.

The B8 just looks so much better, I kind of never really liked the B7 styling, but I still loved the car because it is an Audi and in time it grew on me. From the first instant that I saw the B8 I got the feeling, the feeling you get when you see a new Audi that is just so cool. I love this new B8 and I would be so proud to own one, before I always thought that the A4 could have been better and always preferred larger models such as the A6/A8 etc, but now the A4 is magnificent. It looks so sporty, so sexy, its a real "cool car" IMO.
