is that an electro mechanical parking brake like the A8? I think the switch to the left of the shift lever. Looks the same as the A8.
If so, that is sweet, don't have to worry about pulling the handbrake too high and getting it all loose and no more arm rest and hand brake craziness!

Comes in handy in the winter :)

Makes working on the brakes harder. Shops have to buy special tools to work on the A6 and A8s with that same parking brake.

More 'advanced' but also getting more expensive to service or work on.

I've actually never done a handbrake turn before.
I came from the dark side, a '94 3 series, no traction control or any of that stuff so I jus popped it in 2nd and gave gas and it jus swings the back end out.


Forgot about the costlier repairs if needed. Oh well, I jus got my B7 so that won't be an issue for me anyways.
