it looks like they are planning on DSG contrary to the article. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the longitudinal engine layout is what was complicating the DSG packaging before - doesn't seem to be a problem now.

the white S-Line is sporting a front grille that is identical to the non S-Line cars. It'll be interesting to see what the real S-Line grille will look like eventually.

I believe that the final cars that we get here will look even better than these pics.

while the standard models have a flat/ matte finish. Looks like the plate filler points towards this mild distinction?
But I agree, some other differentiation like honeycomb or vertical line accentuation would make it stand out as an S-line more.

Different enough from the A4 standard grille, but not the same as the S4 or RS4.

If Medusa was around these days, she'd probably drive a 3 series BMW too. Both are hideous and probably quite capaple of certain death when glanced upon.
