until the end of the months. making it 11999$ out the door.. 81 miles away from my house...
so wish me luck that i get the new job and then i will get the bike.. only have until the end of the month though!

i still dont know whether to get the bike or not. Im used to high speeds from germany. however this is the USA and we got speed limits here. to make it worst i live in VA so speeding here is like playing with the devil. also getting a 1400cc bike thats based of the zx14 isnt good either. the bmw now tops out at 115ish max so its not to bad but bad enough to get someone into trouble. with the concours i might end up in more trouble than i want to

I wouldn't know what to do with all that power, i'm quite happy with my 781cc, which has no problem breaking speed limits quickly... But still, if i was in the market, i'd totally have to check one out.

test ride it and then immediately get the paperwork done.

go by your local dealer and check one out they are nice..
however browsing the concours boards i noticed that they are definitely not perfec:

concours 14 abs issues:

batteries installed incorrectly by factory/dealer
highbeam passing switch shortening out in the rain
recall for rear bags
rear tire pressure sensors barely ever working
front tupperware vibrating like crazy when installed incorrectly by dealer (often the case)
heat on R leg area close to burning sensations for some bikers
final drive fluid below filling level from factory

and some other stuff that i have forgotten now

but still little things

the bike would also need heated grips to make it "my bike" but thats an easy fix

are you going to keep the bmw?

115mph's nothing...haha i'm not even going to discuss my top speed run in MD.

Every LD rider I have knows that bought one regretted it. Buzzy, cheap, parts fall off, and in every single case they sold it at a loss and bought an ST.
