Basically, Snell adopted a lot of what the article proposed for the Snell2008 standard, though they didn't credit the article or any of that research for their new changes.

With that said, I will still be sticking w/ my Arai RX7. I have no doubts about its protective capabilities PLUS, no other helmet I've ever tried on to date has felt more comfortable. Its like encasing my head in a pillow.
