No heated gear. I wasn't cold at all - aside from my toes. Rode up to a buddies how to do my 12K service. Wasn't bad at all and I saved over $700!

Flushed brake fluid from full ABS system

i worked on my bike today as well. I had water in the cooling system so i flushed and filled with coolant. Then cleaned it up and tucked it at the corner of the garage and added gas stabilizer and covered it up. =(

The temp was ok mid afternoon, but at sunset i was freezing!

and am planning on getting a heated vest soon. The coldest i've hit is 29F thus far on the VFR, and you have much better wind protection on the RT. Just give the tires time warm up and your good to go.
