went for a spin saturday night during the cold.

out on the interstate i decided to do a high speed run and then a hard braking maneuver with the abs on the off ramp.

tires were so new and slick that the abs didnt really kick in and me ending up riding a stoppie down the off ramp lifting 1-2 feet off the ground. I get her back down and ride home.

Thinking about taking the bike to work Sunday morning, I walk out there is fuel dripping from the bottom of the frame =(

man talk about a rough month..

was sollte man den anderes von mir erwarten!

OK So I think I figured the gas issue out:

I filled her up that up just prior to getting home and the tank was filled all the way to the top, 2mm away from the overflow.
Bike stood outside in the heat of the morning and the fuel started to heat up and form bubbles in the black tank causing it to travel down the vent hose to the bottom of the frame.

At least that is what I was think that happened...

Went out for a 70mile spin this evening heading towards Skyline Drive and back to my house.
The section of route 211 crosses over Skyline Drive but in order to get there you have to ride "Dragon Style" up towards the top:

So here are the front and back tire after tonights ride:

<img src="http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j115/TheDirtyGerman/worn%20rear%20tire/HPIM0297.jpg" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting">&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;

The rear is still feeling weird to me but thats probably because it feel different than the other tires that I had on the bike so far.
The rear felt superb going up the mountain, I felt that there was still an option to lean even more but did not want to push my luck. The front feels a little different and softer during hard breaking so far it will be ok. Once I get to commute daily again (hopefully) with the bike everything will be in butter.
