but with less than 2,300 original miles, owner's manual, tool kit, always garaged, not a scratch on it. The only "flaw" is a little corrosion on the aluminum wheels that needs to be cleaned up. All it needs is a small screen/fairing, bar end mirrors (the stock ones suck), and a sissy bar so my wife doesn't fall off the back when I twist the throttle a little too much.
I hadn't been on a real motorcycle since I got rid of my Yamaha RD400 in 1981 and the basic skills came right back but it's a heavier and much faster bike so I still have a ways to go to get really confident.
All our friends with bikes have cruisers and have already given me grief about my "British sport bike" but I've always been more interested in going around corners than in going straight down the road.
