1) Ducati 848 (749 replacement, will look like the 1098, but instead have an 850cc v-twin)
2) Honda RC61 (could be a 1200cc v-twin)

I'd have to see the Honda. I wish they'd bring back the single-sided swingarm like the RC30 and RC45... that would seal the deal on the Honda, because I'm sure it'll be 1098 performance for 2/3rds the cost.

Another is that a few of my friends have Duc's and although they are nice the reliability of the Honda is much better.

it's cool, but there isn't a smooth transition. If it was like the car i-VTEC, yes, but if they keep the same system, no.

if you're a small guy the 848 might just fit you and have enough power but not for us Clydesdales :)

last thing you need is an uneven powah band for exiting corners
