Ooops. Went to lunch today, stopped at a light. Light turns green, I revved it a bit too much it seems (I wasn't trying to do a wheelie, just trying to get going quickly). I've done this before but the bike only picked up like an inch off the ground. Not this time :( Bike stood right up to the 12 o clock position and dumped my ass right off. Luckily it didn't land on me. I'm ok, but my ass is really sore as I landed right on it. Bike didn't get that messed up thankfully. front left set is broken, exhaust bent and some minsor scrapes. but none on the plastics.

Oh, I guess this can be my intro post as well! I'm Phil and have an 07 Kawasaki Ninja 250.

In the future, make sure you cover the rear brake when you want to launch the bike like that.

Ride safe and glad to hear you're okay!

the person behind you at the light could have run you over.

Glad you're okay and hopefully you job does not require a lot of sitting.

when launching out of a light I usually just slip the clutch hard and just let it sorta catch then I pop it out. Launches really well. These clutches are meant to slip, its the only way to get these things moving
