For Daytona Bike week we usually go Mass to around Savannah in a day, just about 1100 miles. We've done Mass- Daytona a couple times straight, but the first 300 miles in the cold/snow sucks.

Once did a Philly- deals Gap and Back in a day (when I lived in Philly)just to ride the tail of the dragon.

Not an offical IBR rider, but I have a number of Nev 1100 pins, and last year on the way home from Alaska, I made it form Hope BC, to Tahoe in a day (19 hrs).

Philly to the Dragon and back in the same day? That's awesome!

Done the Gap back to NY in one shot a few times, got my IBA cert delivering a bike from Madison WI to Boston for a guy.

I really want to do some riding out West, OTOH, I have not ridden a bike in two years.
