I won't take credit for suggesting that AW have a motorcycle forum, a guy posted on this board last week and said there were enough of us riders here to have our own board. But I then immediately sent AW an email to that effect (and not taking credit for the idea), they responded they would consider it, and boom, here we are.

I raced 3 different models of Yamaha R6 600cc bikes in the pacific and southwest regions of Formula USA's Championship Cup Series and managed to win 1 overall championship, 6 class championships, and one track championship, and be runner up in another overall championship, and in 5 class championships and one track championship. I also used to be an instructor at the California Superbike School.

Alas I retired from raceing back in 2003 and teaching shortly there after and my R6's are all gone, as are my dirt bikes. All I have left is an '05 R1 and an '01 R1200C BMW cruiser. I ride them a few times per month, and even in the twisties on rare occasions.

I will however be at the MotoGP races at Laguna catching up with old AMA racing friends. More than few of them attended Pro school with me.

I was searching for a bike forum and it struck me that we should have one here too. Glad you sent them an email. Guess it worked!!! :)

Im hoping to do a school sometime soon. A friend of mine attended the 2-day session of the Cali Superbike school last month and his riding was greatly improved. Can't wait!
