Rev matching is accomplished by blipping the throttle when downshifting so that the engine and transaxle are turning at the same speed when the clutch is released. The result is little or no change in rpm when the clutch is released after the downshift, which makes for a comfortable gear change with less wear and tear.<p>'99 1.8TQM Melange/Onyx Leatherette Sports,SR,Cold,Bose delivered yesterday!
