I bought a new 160GB iPod Classic just to use in the 2009 S5. When I first attached it (using the dealer supplied cable that says iPod and Audi on the unopened packaging) it said the device was not supported.

However now it just says that the device is 'empty' even though there is stuff on there. I checked with iTunes and the firmware on the iPod is current.

Anyone have similar issues before I take it to the dealer?

Hooked up a 16gb Touch with no problems at all.
