Greetings everyone, I am in the process of securing a lease for a 2009 A5 . I went to apply for a lease with Lease compare, which in turn applied with US bank. They declined me due to "Short employment". I recently (1 year ago) started a company with a partner, and apparently US bank looks for self employed lessee's to have a company for 2 years or more. Any suggestions to getting around this, other than obvious?

Also, has anyone successfully negotiated the lease terms to a reasonable deal with an Audi dealer? If so please provide your experience.

I'd see if you can just buy it and put it on a 72 month payout. You'll get similar monthly payments, and you can always sell it whenever you don't want to make them anymore. Plus...less hassle with mods!

Financiang any Audi for longer than 60 months is a recipe for financial heartache unless you plan to keep it until it's paid off.

I leased an S5 in May. Total out of pocket was $4,750, which included the first month's payment of $930.00. I'd love to hear how badly, or how not so badly everyone thinks that I got reamed. Oh, it's 36 months with only 12k per year.
